The Traveling Hungryboy

I needed some food before heading to the airport, and this truck on the side of the road was apparently worth going to (2001 Kahului Beach Road, 808-298-7109). They do shrimp plate lunches in your choice of flavors. She told me that the Hawaiian scampi or Spicy Pineapple were the most popular, so I went for the latter.

It was much better than it looked, mainly because it was drenched in butter, making it easy to shovel down that rice. The prawns were big, but also fresh, and it wasn't sickly sweet nor overly garlicky like I thought it would be. I ate the entire thing. Next time, I should try the hot and spicy flavor.
