The first thing I saw when I stepped into Alexandra Village Food Centre today was this Vietnamese stall (120 Bukit Merah Lane 1 #01-02). I was surprised to find that the their phở broth was dark, making it more reminiscent of something like Thaksin Beef Noodle than the lighter aromatic one that I crave. Still, the quality of the ingredients was good, and it was well balanced enough that I finished it with ease. Their other items similarly didn't blow me away, but were still good enough to eat.
