The Traveling Hungryboy

A tonkotsu chain from Japan (that has interestingly made a name for itself in London) has opened up shop at PLQ Mall (10 Paya Lebar Road #03-30, 6966-0550). The broth is a solid quality tonkotsu with skinny noodles, and fortunately, that special bowl above didn't overdo the truffle either. But they shockingly failed to trim the asparagus (i.e., they gave me the inedible base), and ultimately I'd rather go to Ippudo. I don't think I'll be coming back, but if I do, I'll be curious to see how their tori paitan fares, as well as their gyu-don.
