It was pointed out to me recently that I haven't posted about pricey Japanese fruit in a while; it's just too expensive for me. Well, we recently stumbled across these Japanese kumquats, and fortunately they were reasonably priced. I went for the cheaper option above; they were relatively mild, but still had all the fun of a kumquat with their tender sweet skins and mildly sour centers.
