After learning the hard way that Pizzeria L'Operetta has shut down, we quickly diverted to The Public Izakaya, which I don't think I've ever been to for dinner. It's a proper izakaya menu at night, including a pretty good sashimi platter. But those gigantic baseball-sized karaage above were the biggest surprise. Despite their size, they were decently moist and yet still crispy on the outside. Had I known they were so big, I wouldn't have ordered so many other things.
