We were around the corner from Làng Nướng Việt Nam tonight and stopped by for some food. This time, we had the option to grill the meat ourselves. I was very happy with a deliciously tender jowl that we got, although that little grill was so hot that we had to move things quickly before they got burned. We also ordered a cut of beef that was rather tough; the menu said that it was "VN beef" although I'm not sure if it was actually from Vietnam or if it meant something else.
