Here's another local dish from the Maldives: hanaakuri beef. Unlike kulhimas, this was a dry curry that was satisfyingly earthy and greasy, and easy to eat with flatbread. I was also quite a big fan of that salad that they provided on the side; I wish they offered a larger portion of it.
