I was pretty excited about being able to try this, especially since I was already on the hunt for a premium soy sauce as it was. Knowing that Robuchon was involved with this one just elevated my expectations to another level. It seems that he used fruit and wine in this, and you can indeed taste a slight tinge of it. But it also wasn't anywhere as savory nor multilayered as my imagination had hoped it would be.
