Marks & Spencer opened up a cafe at Wheelock Place a few years ago, but I never really had much interest in going there (501 Orchard Road #01-K2, 6235-2471). Still, this morning I had a meeting nearby, and I needed something to line my belly beforehand. Fortunately, prices here were reasonable with those fish cakes above going for just S$9.90 (US$7.30). Granted, these were presumably just frozen goods, but it came out surprisingly fast and was ultimately still crispy enough for me to eat quickly, so it satiated the objective.
