Keisuke opened a grilled fish place yesterday (60 Paya Lebar Road #B1-16, 6241-8588). And out of all of his non-ramen places (some of which are frankly forgettable), this is a shop that I'll be eager to come back to. Sure, that gindara above could've used more miso and been a bit richer, but it was fresh, and they did the skin up nice and crispy, going well with the piping hot kama pot rice as well as that generous barrage of accompaniments like tsukemono and onsen tamago. He also had his big salad bar here, along with the dressing that I like so much. It was quite a good deal for the price that you paid. I only wish that he would open one of these in his usual Tanjong Pagar 'hood instead.
