The Traveling Hungryboy

My hotel is right down the street from Gurney Drive Hawker Centre, so I hopped on over to see what I could get for a quick snack. That assam laksa above was a requisite item, and was much punchier than I was expecting, with a potently sour broth, lots of dietary fiber, and an occasional bit of stank in there. I also had some nasi lemak from a stall called CiliBilis, whose signage boasted of having won some kind of hawker championship a decade ago. But I didn't see what the big deal was, seeing how the rice hardly tasted like coconut and the chili was rather mild.
