The Traveling Hungryboy

To be sure, this is just a small kopitiam stall rather than an "alley" (40 Holland Drive #01-39); the name might have been a carryover from a larger location previously. Nonetheless, they claim to be the only Japanese kopitiam stall that is actually run by a Japanese team. They had signage promoting the idea of yakitori in a kopitiam, but the quality of their skewers left a lot to be desired. That curry above fared better given that it was naturally sweet and earthy, and even a little spicy. But the batter on that fish was rather tough, and the service was pretty slow tonight. So I'm not going back, although I think they have other locations under the Yosakoi name with a bigger booze selection that I'm kinda curious about.
