I finally got around to trying the laziji from Qiu Jin Xiao Chao. It was spicier, saltier, and greasier than I was expecting, and in a good way. There wasn't much chicken in there though, as the pieces were pretty small, not to mention bone-attached. That definitely made it a slow-moving accompaniment that would've been great with beer, had they served it here. Maybe I'll save this for takeout then, as I can take my time with it at home with some suds.
