Yay, so it's not just Nian Nian You Yu that does single servings of steamed fish! Here's one from the MacPherson area that happens to have another outlet in Toa Payoh (93 Lorong 4 Toa Payoh #01-45). That seabass above was wonderfully delicate and refreshing with cilantro and ginger, and it was all steamed in a light soy sauce that was deliciously savory when poured over rice. I didn't get a chance to try the other items, but I'm happy either way to find more stalls doing seafood so simply.
