The Traveling Hungryboy

The pink tint in that photo is not doing this much justice; it's the best that I could do given the lighting at the bar. But it was one of the coveted bar-only limited quantity burgers from Raoul's (180 Prince Street, 212-966-3518), and basically everyone who went to the bar at its opening hour was getting one. I can see why: it was incredibly juicy and spiked with a good amount of black pepper, not to mention placed inside airy but textured buns that made it fun, especially with the buttery sauce that came with the fries. But if I come back, I think I'll opt for the steak frites rather than rushing there at 5 PM for the burgers.
