Right next door to Xian Famous Foods at Toa Payoh Mall lies another casual Korean place (Lorong 6 Toa Payoh #01-516, 6908-8908) doing things like that single-portion budaejjigae above. It wasn't anything particularly memorable, while their kalbi, like at Ajumma's, was tough and drowning in a sweet sauce. But at least they provided ssam leaves and garlic here, and one doesn't have to wait in a long line like at Ajumma's either.
