The Traveling Hungryboy

I wasn't planning to go to Bamboo Bowls today, but the menu looked different when I walked by today: the previous Singapore bowl has been replaced with this one named Trang, presumably in reference to the city south of Krabi. It was peanut curry-based, with the best part being those little round eggplants that they roasted, not to mention all of those fresh green herbs. It's too bad that they didn't replace one of the other bowls with this since the Singapore one was one of my favorites, but if I order this again then I'll need to remember to pass on the brisket add-on. It was extremely tender and fatty, but just didn't seem to click well with everything else.
