Apparently, this chain of hotpot shops from Hong Kong is from the guy behind Putien (1 Kim Seng Promenade #B1-108, 6232-7800). They offered quite a wide selection of broths, like that cilantro and century egg broth above, as well as even a fruit-based one. Yes, our selections were fine, with the mala broth featuring an impressive amount of fragrant peppercorns. But both of them were also very lean without much body. That means that I'd rather go to Kuaile Xiaoyang or Da Long Yi, even if this place was more affordable than I thought it would be.
