The Traveling Hungryboy

I was told about 99 Ranch's free cooking service ages ago, but somehow I never managed to go there to try it until today, when their tanks were teeeming with lots of live dungeness at a bargain price of just $6.99/pound, inclusive of a free steaming service. You could also get a fish deep-fried too.



This 2.5 pounder above was delicious, with plenty of fresh and naturally sweet and tender meat to be found. There wasn't too much tomalley inside though, and this was technically still a dollar per pound more expensive than a pre-cooked crab on ice too. But I can only assume that the live ones were better.
