The Traveling Hungryboy

This Vietnamese place may have a very awkward name, but it's a recent extension of a bánh mì stall from out in Jurong. This location (275 Thomson Road #01-03, 8866-7262) has table service and a more extensive menu featuring things like phở and bánh xèo, as well as that chả cá Lã Vọng above. Despite how it looked, there was fortunately enough residual oil at the bottom of the hot plate to lace my rice noodles with that lovely turmeric and dill aroma. They have a couple of chicken dishes on the menu that look interesting enough to come back for.
