A Xinghua shop has opened next door to Biang Biang Noodles Xi'an Famous Foods (190 Lorong 6 Toa Payoh #01-518), and it was pretty good. That bee hoon above was light yet fragrant and savory, while the century egg starter behind it was a nice complement. I'd like to come back to try a few of the soups that I saw on the menu, including a seaweed one, a spinach one, and a tofu ball one.
