There is a little stall in the basement food court at HDB Hub that does little bite-sized mochi by hand (480 Lorong 6 Toa Payoh #B1-01 stall 21). And it's pretty good; he can do them with peanuts or black sesame seeds, and fortunately it's not too sweet. I gobbled this plate up pretty quickly.
