
When I opened up this tin of sardines, I was surprised at how small they were. It turns out that was because they were a specific variety of pilchard sardines from Spain. Yes, I liked these delicate slivers more than the big ones that one oftentimes gets in cans. And I even drank the remaining oil with a teaspoon, as it was not only rich but also pleasantly savory. Thumbs up.
