On my way to the office, I randomly came across a couple of street carts selling some kind of jianbing pancakes with egg on it. And it was only 4 RMB (US$0.65), so I grabbed one, which came piping hot off the grill along with some chili sauce and garnish to make a little sandwich. The funny thing was though that the vegetables that she shoved in here were frozen solid due to the sub-zero temperatures in Beijing this week! Either way, this little savory greasy thing was tasty and filling, and she had an option to add more things into it which I might try tomorrow.
