The Traveling Hungryboy

I wasn't really in the mood for mala xiangguo today, but I've always been curious about this place (1 Harbourfront Walk #03-01), and I figured that I might as well give it a try, especially since our previous favorite Piao Xiang at 313@Somerset has changed owners and in turn recipes...for the worse! I was thus hoping to see if this might be a worthwhile replacement. The good thing is that this was better than the new Piao Xiang, as it wasn't as sweet. But it wasn't so dramatically fragrant that I'd go nuts for it either. At least it's one of the few places in this Food Republic area with dedicated seating, making it a nice little haven when the rest of the food court is packed for lunch.
