The Traveling Hungryboy

The last time I was at Wee Nam Kee, it was still in their old location across from the church. But today we were at United Square needing a quick place to eat when we realized that they had moved over here (101 Thomson Road #01-08, 6255-6396). The good thing is I liked it more than the way I described it last time, as the broth was actually delicate and savory, and the chicken was nice and moist. But it was also rather forgettable, as the chicken sat in a slightly sweet sauce, the chili sauce was watered down, the rice was rather boring, even if it was firm. In that sense, I stand by my old verdict in that there are other places that are much better than this.
