Somehow I had never heard of this place despite passing down this street rather frequently (89 Killiney Road, 6732-1085). Apparently they are part of a bigger cze cha chain, and have been praised for their namesake prawn noodle.
I didn't order that though. Instead, I was after their paofan, which presumably used the same broth. As a result, it was much more savory and earthy than what one usually gets with paofan. The white beehoon above was similarly punchier than what usually thinks of with white beehoon, in a good way.
But the textures of both the rice and beehoon were rather mushy. I'm not sure if that was a function of it being in a takeaway box, but it didn't deter me from eating them. It would've been nice if they had provided some of that crispy rice stuff that usually accompanies paofan though.
