This small chain from Japan has been at Mandarin Gallery for ages (333A Orchard Road #04-05, 6737-7764), but the menu never looked interesting enough for me to want to go in. They're doing bento boxes now though, so I figured that I'd pick one up to see what it was all about.
I was surprised to find that it looked like something that you could pick up at Don Don Donki. OK, that's not fair: the quality was better than that, including the rice and miso soup that they seem to be known for. And it probably would've been even better had there been dine-in service. But I was kinda bummed with what I got.
