The other day my teammate told me that one of the most local things to eat in Auckland was fish and chips. It naturally wasn't my first choice of things to get, but I decided to get some today given this pub nearby (12 Vulcan Lane, +64-9-218-9353). The batter was too dough-y and the fish wasn't anything particularly tasty either, but hey, it came out piping hot and the tartar sauce was pretty good.
