I went back to Mrs Pho House at Ngee Ann City today to try their take on chả cá Lã Vọng, dubbed "Cha Ca De La Mrs Pho." No, there was no bubbling oil in the pan, but it was still delicate and herbal enough for me to wolf down quickly. My breath stinks right now from all of the barely-cooked scallions in there though.
