I went back to Sally's for lunch today, this time going for her phở. And it was better than I thought it would be, especially with that generous heap of fresh basil, putting stingy commercialized places like So Pho to shame. To be sure, a couple of pieces of meat were a bit tough, and the noodles were wider than I prefer. But it still hit the spot, even if she didn't include much broth.
