This place looked very promising, as its head chef not only spent time at places like Jean Georges and Guy Savoy, but also Longtail (9 Songshou Road 4F, 2722-8886). I was thus very eager to try this place, especially since they also had an Etxebarri-like wood burning grill in their open kitchen!
Yep, that lovely grilled aroma perfumed the food wonderfully, including not just that tilefish above, but also an asparagus starter that I had. The food was seasoned nicely too, even if it was rather cliched for them to feature edamame and breadcrumbs in my side of vegetables.
Actually, it wasn't cheap here (for those prices, I would've expected the mango in my dessert to be sweeter). And it's too bad that the menu was so focused on starters and mains; it would've been much more interesting had they focused on small plates.
