Blue Star was just a few doors down from Lardo, so I stopped by on my way back to give it a try. Yes, this place was indeed much better than Voodoo (thanks for the tip!) with those doughnuts being much more sophisticated rather than being so in-your-face and sugary. They're not open 24 hours like Voodoo is though.
