The Traveling Hungryboy

This friendly little family-run shop (14B Báo Khánh, 09-8334-2242) basically just sells bánh cuốn and phở bò, the former of which I liked much more, in part simply because I don't get it very often. Plus, that dipping sauce was very mild, and yet they provided a generous basket of cilantro for one to throw in into it, along with those earthy shallots adorning it. The phở, on the other hand, was northern-style with minimal herbs, although having some greasy quay sticks to dunk in it made it more fun.
