The Traveling Hungryboy

The L'Operetta people have shut down their Icon Village location in Tanjong Pagar, replacing it with a new spot up in Holland Village (23 Lorong Mambong). The menu seems less pizza-centric now, but they still serve a lot of the same dishes, and some of the staff is the same too.

I'm quite relieved, since they really still do have some of the best pizza in town, thanks to not just the texture of the tasty crust, but the wonderfully tangy tomato sauce and rich cheese. They don't place bottles of chili oil on each table anymore, but thankfully it's still available upon request.

Actually, I'm starting to like the bianca over the margherita here because it brings the cheese even more to the forefront. And yes, the pasta here is still good too, with them not being shy about using a good dose of olive oil and salt. Thumbs up.
