The Traveling Hungryboy

This shop (252 North Bridge Road #B1-44F, 6254-4946) finally opened for dine-in service this week after doing only takeout previously. As the name suggests, they sell milkfish, which I had assumed would be crispy like the one from the Li Family Milkfish Shop in Taipei. Instead, it was slathered in a dark sauce. It wasn't as sweet as I feared it would be, but still wasn't the crispy delight that I was hoping for either.

It seems that they are getting more attention for the "signature soup" at the top of the menu, which doesn't feature milkfish, but snapper instead. The broth was fine, but also wasn't as savory as I would've hoped it to be. Well, they still have a lot of other fish dishes on the menu that I'd like to try, but I don't think I'll be getting anything on their two-person combo set again.
