IPPUDO is doing a special collab with a local actor at some of its outlets for the next few days. It features their tonkotsu broth and a scoop of their curry miso paste, but also a bit of dried scallop and shrimp paste plus a sambal garlic oil. Yes, there were a lot of things going on, but somehow they were able to keep everything balanced rather than feeling like just used brute force. Maybe it was the citrus and cilantro that made the diffrence, but I liked it enough that I went for a kaedama of their awesome skinny noodles to go with the remaining broth. I don't think I'd get it again though if it were to make a permanent appearance on the menu.
