The Traveling Hungryboy

I'm such a sucker for craft cocktails, small plates, and wooden counter seating. It thus wasn't hard for me to like this place in Vancouver's Gastown neighborhood (217 Carrall Street, 604-568-1701). Now, those heirloom carrots above weren't as good as the curried ones from Outlier in Seattle last night, but I still gobbled those up along with their veal sweetbreads on toast, even if the latter was a tad heavily sauced. I'd still be happy to come back though.
