Here's something that you don't hear about very often: a Swedish bartender runs a Danish hot dog place with a playful Chinese name at Orchard Towers. He's since opened another outlet in Tanjong Pagar (68 Duxton Road #01-02, 8235-4935), and his hot dogs and cocktails are available for delivery right now.
He also does weekend specials, like that smørrebrød above, featuring breaded sole with fresh water shrimp, white asparagus, roe, and dill. It was light and refreshing, while the hot dogs were fun thanks to those rostad lök fried onions. More importantly, his potent negronis were exactly what I needed this afternoon.
