"Every" might sound kinda weird, but this is a Japanese convenience store with a cafe attached (593 Havelock Road #01-03/04, 6904-0555), right next door to Ya Hua Rou Gu Cha. There were a number of interesting things on the menu, but I went for their mentaiko pasta above, seeing how it seemed to be one of their most popular items. It delivered the requisite savory and buttery mixture.
What got me more excited was their selection of affordable booze by the glass, as well as the fact that they offered a selection of kantsuma from the convenience store (it was a rather long list of choices on a dedicated menu page!). They would plate it for you and give you with some crackers to go along with it too. Now that's my kind of place, even if the food wasn't anything to go out of one's way for.
