IPPUDO's Shaw Centre location (1 Scotts Road #04-22, 6235-2547) is currently offering 20 bowls per day of this concoction from guest chef Oshige Yohei. It was apparently the winner at some World Ramen Grand Prix, with the broth featuring four different kinds of dehydrated fish plus chicken, pork, and beef, all strained through a coffee siphon.
And yes, it was indeed a savory, clean, and crisp taste, all done with a nicely grilled chashu plus a small scoop of rice for you to make an ochazuke with afterwards. Neat! Still, I don't know if the broth was *that* unique in the end. If I want to get a clean and crisp broth, I would be just as happy getting some shio ramen from Tsuta across the street. Or more likely, I'd just go to Hotototgisu.
