Char is a Cantonese roast meat place that at a trusted advisor of mine once suggested to me. And yeah, I liked it when I ordered from UberEATS maybe sometime last year. So I figured that I'd stop by one of their extended stalls at Timbre+ while I was out here tonight. But I didn't like it. The char siew was drowning in syrup, and the crispy roast pork didn't do it for me either. The sour chili sauce was kinda good, but was also so garlicky that I stink right now. I don't think I'll be eating this again.
