Ippudo had this on its menu today, featuring a thick blend of squid ink, miso, and spices to form this dark-looking bowl. It basically tasted like Japanese curry; to be honest, I wouldn't have even known that there was squid ink in here if I hadn't seen it. But it definitely gave it a distinct appearance.
