The Traveling Hungryboy

I'm admittedly getting a little tired of chicken rice after eating so much over the past few days. But this place (19 Purvis Street, 6337-4640) came up in conversation the other day, and I figured I'd stop by, especially since it's been so long since I was last here that I've completely forgotten about it.

The chicken rice was better than most places, mainly because the meat was moist and the rice was firm. But the thin brown sauce drizzled on it was ever so slightly sweet, and wasn't as fragrant as I wanted it to be either. If I come back, I might try something else on their huge menu like the Hainanese pork chop.
