The Traveling Hungryboy

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with kolo mee, but it uses the same Chinese characters gan lao, so presumably it is. Anyway, I caught it in the corner of my eye as I grabbed a bowl of paofan from Chef Wai's today. It was basically a bowl of pork lard rice that got pimped up with their paofan garnishes. It could've used a little more sodium, but I was quite happy with it either way, especially since it was only S$2 (US$1.50) for a decently sized bowl. I am not sure if they will sell it on its own though as it was part of their add-on menu. Note to self: avoid the fried fish here as it was totally lifeless today.
