A new restaurant has opened up on Duckland's former space at United Square (101 Thomson Road #B1-09, 8877-4117). It's still a Chinese place, but more specifically, they are from Johor. That means that they have JB-style bee hoon. Yay! We made sure to grab a plate along with things like that omelette above.
It's too bad then that the bee hoon wasn't very crispy, making it a far cry from JB Ah Meng, Seng Kee, and Yong Kee. The prices added up quickly here too. I think they were intentionally trying to go upscale like Crystal Jade or something.
