The Traveling Hungryboy

That probably sounds and looks a bit weird, but I went back to &JOY tonight again for their - you guessed it - S$10 flight of sake. But I wanted to pair it with a bit of food, and fortunately, the Kuriya counter had a bunch of ready-made sides in the glass case for you to pick from. And the thing that I really wanted was that yellow blob in the background. Why? It was "Taramo Salad." Yep, as in taramasalata, but done with mentaiko. It ended up being more of a mentaiko-laced potato salad, but it was just the right savory accompaniment to my sake. I was happy.
